Our Construction Process

Building a custom home can seem like a daunting process. There are dozens of vendors offering what seems like unlimited options. We simplify the process and bring back the fun in building your home.

  1. First we have a kickoff meeting. We want to learn the details of your home. It’s important for us to thoroughly understand everything before we start designing. This will save you time and money.

  2. Next we identify preliminary design and prepare a schedule of desired finishes. Our clients enjoy this step, it’s basically like shopping.

  3. Once we know exactly what you want we can set the budget. With the budget in place we can execute a construction contract with our team.

  4. Now is when you close on your property and your construction loan. And we’ll start all the paperwork to obtain all the permits.

  5. Construction begins! The construction project can take 5-8 months depending on many factors. We’ll walk you through the entire process and keep you informed from beginning to end.

  6. Before you move-in we have a two-step process to ensure the home is right. First there’s a substantial completion Certificate of Occupancy. Then we work with you to complete a comprehensive move-in punch-list.

  7. You move in! It’s time to experience your dream home!
